With over 20 years in New York City’s vibrant hospitality scene, Sy Rahman has built a career defined by strong leadership, operational expertise, and an unwavering commitment to exceptional guest experiences.
Sy began his journey with Restaurant Associates at Rockefeller Center, following his passion for hospitality. He went on to serve as Food and Beverage Manager at the Stanhope Hotel and later led multiple venues, catering, and events at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center with Restaurant Marketing Associates. His career includes helping launch some of New York’s most iconic destinations, including celebrity-fueled Fashion Cafe, Comix Meatpacking District, and Highline Ballroom.
In 2008, Sy joined Chef Driven Hospitality Group, where he quickly rose through the ranks. Over the years, he has successfully led Marseille, Nizza, and The Friki Tiki, fostering guest-focused teams and a culture of excellence.
Today, as Director of Operations, Sy oversees these flagship venues, guiding his teams with a calm, collaborative approach and a dedication to detail-driven service. Outside of work, he is a passionate wine enthusiast and music lover, always seeking new ways to connect with people through shared experiences.
